Femi is a flash fiction writer and performer from London. Her ongoing collection, This Didn’t Happen, is comprised of more than 150 tiny tales.

Femi writes about love, but she is far from a Romance writer. Using humour and sensitivity, along with a fearless honesty, she explores the gamut of the human condition. Femi’s belief that stories are to be heard as well as read, informs her conversational performance style. She loves nothing more than sharing and connecting with an audience, and she does this regularly at spoken word, literary, and community events.

Femi has performed at Literary Death Match, Loose Muse, UpRise Festival, Theatre Local (Royal Court Theatre), City Lit, White Night Festival (Brighton), The Southbank Centre’s New Year’s Eve Party, and lots of other lovely places.

Femi is the Dickens 2012 Young Writer in Residence.
